Student Mobility provides mobility solutions for international students in the Netherlands. This makes traveling locally and internationally by bus or train more attractive for students.
Who are the startup’s products or services intended for?
Student Mobility products are primarily intended for students. In addition, for employees of educational institutions, young people and anyone who wants to travel sustainably through Europe.
What problem does the startup solve exactly?
The bookability of international train travel is poor and there is currently no price incentive for students to travel by train/bus on holiday/exchange/study destinations. Educational institutions and the European Commission will use subsidies and other incentives to motivate students to travel to destinations under 800 KM only with sustainable solutions. Student Mobility offers a segmented platform where subsidies can be settled and carriers can immediately give discounts to verified students.
National
International students are not entitled to the well-known NL Studenten-OV where students travel for free during the weekend or during the week. Due to this product, there are no special rates for the student target group and international students are not facilitated. Student Mobility offers a total solution for these students in which discount and ease of use are paramount.
