What product or which service does your startup provide?
Nemi is a software solution that enables the operation of demand-responsive transport services. Through a user app, a driver app, a back-office and a route optimization algorithm, Nemi improves the efficiency of collective road transport services in contexts of low or irregular demand, such as remote areas or areas with internal mobility of workers. To use the service, it is necessary to make a reservation indicating the origin and destination stops, and the day and time of the trip. Then, an algorithm calculates the most optimal route in order to serve the existing demand, avoiding the stops that weren’t requested.

Who are the products or services intended for?
The solution is intended for companies which are poorly connected by public transport and are looking to offer their employees a safe, convenient and sustainable mobility alternative for their commutes.

Which problem does your startup solve exactly?
Historically, only companies with lots of resources have been able to afford employee shuttle services. In the current and future scenario where working from home is and will be a reality for many people, offering such services has become even less economically viable. We can design a corporate mobility service for companies located in the same business or industrial park that makes it possible for them to share the cost of operating it, ensure the availability of a safe and convenient mobility alternative for all their employees, and fulfil their sustainability goals.
