Joyn helps in bridging the gap between the motivation of individuals to commute greener and the untapped opportunities of employers to support them in achieving their potential. The service caters HR managers to plan their employee expenses with an overview over commuting patterns and budgets. The DNA of Joyn is its algorithm that calculates the potential of green commuting in every different instance. This way the roadblocks in achieving the potential can be identified and tackled by employers with incentive plans, cities with planning better infrastructure and commuters making long lasting changes in behaviour.  

Who are the products or services intended for?
With a granular approach to bottlenecks in changing to greener alternatives, the platform offers the opportunity of personalizing at scale. Employees will use the app for self-reporting commuting needs and expenses. Furthermore, green commuting behaviour will be incentivized by employee schemes in partnership with HR managers and a game-based learning will enable the users to become more aware of the small changes that help them reach new personal milestones.

The product’s unique selling point is the personalization of data collection based on your commuting patterns and a recommendation system linked to the employee benefits system. Traditional mobility apps don’t go further than the facilitation of the service. Joyn goes one step further in helping change behavior around what a community of people who will collectively “joyn” the journey to change commuting behaviors. Their commitment as a collective ( either employees in a company or a neighborhood association for example) will shape the decision-making of the individuals and help level up everyone in the group.
