GeoJunxion creates zones around schools that can be used in, among other things, navigation and route planning systems, or the App developed by GeoJunxion (GeoAlertsLive).

What product or which service does your startup provide?
GeoJunxion creates zones around schools that can be used in, among other things, navigation and route planning systems, or the App developed by GeoJunxion (GeoAlertsLive). Road users are warned when they are in an area where the risk of children crossing and children on bicycles etc. is very high. However, these warnings are dynamic and based on, among other things; time of day, day of the week and the weather and are therefore only displayed when they are relevant. In addition, we take into account public transport and walking routes from school to the stops.

Who are the products or services intended for?
Our data can be used by multiple parties to provide insight into high-risk areas where accidents can occur. Governments can gain insight into these areas and adjust their policy on traffic measures around the areas accordingly. Companies that work with logistics processes can apply the data in their planning systems to make their planning based on the data in such a way that these areas can be avoided at certain times due to the increased risk of accidents involving vulnerable road users.

Which problem does your startup solve exactly?
With our data and App we contribute to road safety in the Netherlands and we can alert road users when they enter an area where the risk of an accident with vulnerable road users is greater. Since we use dynamic data, our warnings are relevant and we can provide insight into the current situation at that time. This allows us to contribute to reducing the number of road casualties.
